CCSW Workgroups

Career Connect Southwest Advisory

The CCSW Network Advisory group convenes regional partners to align efforts in expanding career-connected learning opportunities. This group aims to strengthen collaboration, share key updates, and gather input on network priorities, funding opportunities, and strategic alignment. Participants engage in discussions on program developments, regional needs, and partnership opportunities to enhance student pathways. Through shared learning and intentional planning, the advisory group works to ensure sustainable, high-quality experiences that prepare students for postsecondary success and workforce readiness. The group fosters a collective approach to advancing Career Connect Southwest’s mission across diverse communities.

Internship Stakeholders Gathering

The Regional Internship Stakeholders Gathering brings together educators, workforce development professionals, and industry partners to collaborate on expanding high-quality internship opportunities for students in Southwest Washington. Through shared learning, resource alignment, and strategic planning, we aim to remove barriers, strengthen partnerships, and develop sustainable work-based learning systems that bridge education and employment. By fostering regional collaboration, defining best practices, and addressing challenges, we ensure that all students—especially those in rural and underserved communities—gain meaningful career experiences that enhance their postsecondary readiness and workforce success. Together, we are building a stronger, more equitable internship ecosystem.

Post-Secondary Workgroup

The Post-Secondary Work Group is committed to expanding equitable access to postsecondary education and career pathways by fostering collaboration among education, industry, and workforce partners. Aligned with the CCSW Governance Board’s strategic plan, the group focuses on strengthening dual credit opportunities, financial aid literacy, and seamless student transitions to higher education and careers. Through initiatives such as regional articulation agreements, financial aid outreach, and advisory communities of practice, the group works to remove barriers and enhance career-connected learning. By leveraging state and regional resources, the group drives innovative solutions that prepare students for postsecondary success and workforce readiness.
