Formed in late 2019, this cross-state and cross-sectional team acts as an advisory network to develop appropriate programs and services to meet the unique needs of rural schools and small businesses.
Gorge Career Connected Learning Network
The industry and education needs in Klickitat and Skamania counties are considerably different from those of Pacific, Clark and Cowlitz counties, and overlap a great deal with communities in Oregon directly across the Columbia River.
Comprising 12 school districts and quickly growing industries like aerospace technology, information systems, agriculture, tourism and renewable energy, the needs of students and employers in this region are addressed by the Gorge Career Connected Learning Network.

Leadership
We partner with the Columbia Gorge STEM Hub, the Mid-Columbia Economic Development District, the South Central Workforce Council and the Gorge Tech Alliance, in addition to each school district and dozens of businesses in the region to develop and implement innovative STEM-driven career related learning.
